Land of the Birpai People.

I have visited this little jetty (and its a pretty small one) many times over the years, each time marveled at the fact it has not really deteriorated at all between visits, taking a closer look this time and its not hard to see why this is the case, the wood used in the jetty are big slabs which got me thinking to when it was actually built. I probably should read one of those info signs at the place since that would probably say. However I did find a cool document from the dept of frogs and logs (aka dept of environment or heritage or whatever their name is today) which was more about park management etc but had some really good info on the history of the area.
