I love this shot. I reminds me of wind farm I came across during my California days. Actually, the resemblance to California is strong: the golden hills, the big sky. And what a sky! It looks like it won't be long before there is a downpour to awaken the slumbering grasses.
Thankyou +Carolyn Fahm , this is on lake George near Canberra (Australia's Capital), it is/was a point of political contention since there is a big lobby for the use of coal in this country – apparently since we have truckloads of it! one politician called it a eyesore, to me, i would rather this view than the view of a coal or nuclear plant :) I think we (australia) can learn alot from the state of California :)
GREAT COMPOSITION and OBJECTS, LIGHT…
+Gerard Blacklock Brilliant image Gerard. I find the politics of coal and climate denial depressing in the extreme, but at least this beautiful image disproves the notion that wind farms are an eyesore.
+Chris Sutton yeah depressing sums it up :( thanks mate
