Bogan Stars.

Bogan Stars.

Sitting out here in the pitch black with all my micro bat friends and a few stars at this cool little spot at the end of Dunbogan Beach. If your keen you can walk all the way along this beach and you will get to Crowdy Head National Park.

The geology in this area is also very interesting, this clump of rocks in the ocean that I was sitting on are a type of conglomerate sedimentary rock with really neat seams in it, hard on the ass, but interesting none the less.

The bright light on the horizon is the moon as it was setting.

just don’t fall off the comic cliff.
Some very cool rock formations on the much insta loved Lincolns rock – probably the only place in the Blue mountains where the parking is $2.5 per 15 minutes…. all day and night 😉

The Lincoln Rock Cave.

soo.. what did ya do on thursday night ? sat in a cave with Rodney Campbell and played with coloured torches…

I had been meaning to shoot the milkyway from this cave for awhile, given the milkyway season is coming to end soon and its typically on the western side during sensible hours (ie not after 2 am) it was the obvious choice… probably the tursday night not so much with work the next day.. but sometimes ya gotta just run with what time you have 🙂

Here’s a cool collage of the cave with some colour variety …
