It was no accident that the campsite was literally just around the corner from this tree 🙂

Gotta love a good tent shot. Picked a pretty nice campsite which had some nice views and was protected from the wind.

One of the very cool things in the snowy mountains is the way scenes change, even in the space of minutes blue sky can be replaced with whiteout clouds, makes for fun photography

South Rams Head

Pretty well done by the middle child, 10.5 kms of snow shoeing, overnight at -6 degrees and not much whinging 🙂

This shot is 21 vertical frames stitched together, its a rather large pano now and my poor computer had a coronary trying to edit it…18242 pixels wide to be exact.

Probably would have been easier just to swap to a short lens and fit it all in on one shot…
