Say what you want about Halloween, but its pretty cool, what other event gets a community out into the streets mingling and having a great time. Whats pretty cool is how many people without kids get into it.. I reckon its just gonna morph into a cool yearly community event (if it has not already really), sure all the supermarkets etc get on the bandwagon and take advantage of some profit making, but that ops normal for them 😉
Someone just needs to invent biodegradable spider web stuff…. ie put it up then one day and a week later its composted down.
A few shots as I carried the haul of sweets around our local haunt.

Fave Tree.
I think this might be my new favourite local tree, although I think the local golf club has done some serious pruning around it.. I distinctly remember there being a lot more shrubs around it…

Lizard.

Lizard.

Well thats a weekend we are not gonna forget for awhile.

Here’s a picture of a cool lizard using a lens that cost me less than 200 bucks (several years ago) and was made in the 80’s. To continue that trivia, there was about 140 thousand of these lens made. New stuff is cool, but sometimes old stuff is cooler, even when its harder to use 🙂 reminds me of photography is really about, taking the time to shoot each frame and not just smashing blindly on that shutter button (or smart phone).
