The faces of ANZAC Day

For awhile now I have trundled into the city and battled the crowds to remember those who have served for our country, each year brings fewer familiar faces, but at the same time new faces appear and others take up the memory, not to mention the new generation of returned serviceman and women.

This lady is one I have noticed for the last few years, the wife of one of the under 16's who has passed away. Here she is over the last 3 years and not looking that much older 🙂

Western Sydney, probably even classified as the Hawkesbury, all I know is I probably need a passport to go there its so far away

I think its also commonly referred to as the food bowl for sydney, since most of the local fresh produce is grown around this area.

Anyhows, there was a nice fog and some cows hiding in there and some very nice predawn pinks, followed up with a tasty steak sandwich, all that looking at cows made me hungry 🙂

Certainly not one of the best Airshow pictures, but i reckon this sums up the pilot and the aircraft. Yes these things have a silly amount of horsepower to weight and super size control surfaces, nonethless, i don't think i would have the balls to fly that close to the ground unless I am gonna land ;)

An amazing performance by a great female pilot.

Not a bad aircraft either, a bit of trivia for ya's these aircraft have a little 'ol red dot on the wing spar that changes colour when the structure gets too warm (ie very hot day) indicating no fly today peeps – composite wing spar and heat do not mix i guess 😉
