Bush fires suck, mostly.

When I first came to this spot, it was nothing but lowland shrub bush, no paths just the sound of the crashing of the waves on the cliffs to guide you and the ever waiting facing eating spiders….. no spiders on this day, either they have clued up to the fact i’m gonna whack them, or they have been all blown off the face of the earth by the gale force winds.. or all cooked by the fires of 12+ months ago…

either way, whilst they form a very important function in our ecosystem, like mozzies, ticks and flies… i would not miss them

What I loved about my grandparents is that they did not worry about kids climbin

What I loved about my grandparents is that they did not worry about kids climbing on stuff, even when I told my kids to be careful they were like ‘its ok they are alright’ or ‘just watch out you don’t hurt yourself’

As i look at our lounge at home, with pen marks, stains and god knows what else.. really, does it matter? your only on this planet for a short time, there are bigger and better things to worry about…

Here’s little E working out how to use grandpas cool chair which vibrated, lifted up, laid down and generally is the coolest thing for any kid to play on…
