Sea Lake Aerial.
I’ll come back when its dry 😉 its a bit wet and full there at the moment.
A few images between chasing the kids around the salt mounds… which btw way are like freaking rocks, don’t fall over on one of these, it’ll hurt.

Margaret Whitlam Pavilion
Really has no interesting facts (putting aside the name) other than its a cool shape and architecturally designed which is a bit of duh.. clearly not a cookie cutter style building 😉
Sharp lines, warm wood, mixed with brutalist concrete…
(i’m available for architecture review writing too btw 😉 😉 )

How did the voltage greet the current when they met? what’s up ohmie.
don’t pretend not to smile thats gold… 😉
Here’s a fun fact for some midweek mind bend – this picture is of the single 220kV line that runs from Mildura to Broken hill, single point of failure backed up by two diesel turbines in broken hill, each delivering 25MW, for watt its worth they prolly don’t get turned on much since they also have a solar farm, geez that makes sense out there right 🙂 … which can deliver 53MW.

Sea Lake – aka Lake Tyrrell.
I do have to thank google maps for routing us via the rally track around Lake Tyrrell to the viewing platform. It sure as hell made for a much more fun drive than the say.. then 500 metre sealed road from the highway route that every other normal person would have used – except for that dude in the honda who was still trying to get the mud off the wheel arches and underbody when we left 😉
This places gets a few mm of rain and turns into mud pile rally track
However, what is pretty mad is that this 200+ sq.km lake is now chockers full of water, pink water at that, so much so the water is going over the viewing platform…

Sydney Prices.
So, i’m thinking i’ll pick up a pizza and go and watch some epic sunset at the aboretum in Canberra, turkish pide sounded like a good idea – so off i went to the local place at Charnwood and ordered my 20 something dollar pide thinking that yeah thats typical of what i would pay for single serve pide in my over priced suburb in Sydney. I get my pide and i could have pretty much fed half of Canberra with it, it was huge 🙂
Shout out to the Turkish Pide place in Charnwood, pretty darn good value i say.
Sunset was a bit of a let down, had to walk several km’s to burn off all my pide 😉

Crazy.
These fisherman looked at me like i was crazy and I looked at them like they were crazy.. i mean who gets up at the crack of dawn to go and throw a fishing line off the rocks 🙂
One thing we did agree on tho, it was certainly a very nice morning to be out, barely any swell, low tide, perfect temperature and crystal clear water…
