A state of isolation or seclusion – well i would have felt like this at this location however I had enough mosquitoes to literally carry me away.
Pretty much cloudless except for a few fluffies wandering past but i still liked the pastel tones coming off the predawn sun.
techie stuff:
D7000 coupled with 17-55mm f2.8 @ Aperture: f/8 and Shutter Speed: 229s
out front – LEE bigstopper, LEE graduated filter 0.9 and screw in circular polariser (just 'cause i would have had to swat 15 billion mosquitoes whilst getting it off π )
As always, I welcome any suggestions, comments and improvements to my photography, they are always warmly welcomed!
Thankyou to you all who comment and plus my posts, I do appreciate it and do try and at respond to everyone π Rest assured I am always checking out my commenters streams (when i probably should be doing something else π )
Excellent photo like the dept view .
Fantastic Colors/shot !
Nice.
Excellent image +Gerard Blacklock π what i would do if it was my image would be to clone out the little trees to the left o the first stump so you can count the stumps from front to back and also the signs on the horizon. Little things and not worth re-posting over. Just my 2 cents. I'm liking the negative space as well.
This is pure serenity. +Jason Beaven I agree, I'd also clone out the small black dots near the horizon. #critiqueplease

Thanks for the feedback, very much appreciated and well spotted, i did consider doing some further cloning (i cloned a single little stump off to the right) but did not think it would make a big difference however, now that you point it out I definitely agree that removing those little ones does make it better, also those nav markers on the horizon will also get the chop π
Thanks again for helping #improvemyphoto

Excellent capture, love feel of this image!
Spectacular shot!
Fantastic interesting composition
Gorgeous image! Chuckled at the line about the Mosquitos. We used a product from Australia called Rid for the Mosquitos of PNG. It helped! I can not find it in the USA . Your country is rather breath taking!
Awesome view
Lovely shot π +Gerard Blacklock
+Gerard Blacklock a marvelous image with wonderful color tones. The composition is superb. I would change anything including the signs in the background. Well done.
I like it just the way it is, beautiful.
