Bradley's Head Marine Nav-Aid

What I love about sunrise is that you are never gonna know were the colour is gonna turn up (if at all) and when it does, all you can do is just make do with what angle, POV, or feature you can. I would have loved to be in another position to take more advantage of the sweet colours, but alas, this sliver of Sydney Harbour has to suffice.

Sunset with a 4 year old, well 4 years and one day now, I noticed some pretty nice cloud forming today, which btw was perfect for some midair aircraft shots, but I was busy with a 4 year birthday party hence no love there, anyway, so myself and chaos (4 years and 1 day) decide to head out to see the clouds painted by the easter bunny rabbit. Whilst the actual photography side of things is quite difficult when you either have a four year on your shoulders and doing a runner into the bushes every two minutes it is still very enjoyable to spend time together and shoot some pictures

Bare Island

Anyone who is in Sydney and takes the occasional landscape image knows about this location, its no wonder its popular, sunset and sunrise positions are easy to get to, you can park your car 2 minutes away and makes a great location (and free) for the wedding photographers. I suspect just about every angle on the island and the little castle has been beaten over the head however I still find it a nice place to go and more importantly, they always have a icecream truck there 🙂

If anyone is interested, Sunday the 28th (april) there is the Battle of Bare island which has some cool battle re-enactments, canon and musket firing.
