Balls of Steel.

Thelma Point. I visited this little spot some years and have always wanted to get back with the right conditions, its a fine balance between too much water flowing over the rockshelf and not enough to create a nice cascade.

Its also a good reminder to watch the sea and never assume that just cause there has not been any waves come across for 5 or 10 minutes that its all sweet. This spot, on this morning, had some odd rhythms to it, it would go almost 12 or 15 minutes without a wave making it over the shelf, then you get a whole bunch, like 5 or 6 waves that would nail it.. and when those bunker busters are pounding the pavement its hard to hold your own

Starry Boats – I think if more people went outside and stared at the stars for a while the world would be a better place. Remember, your just a collection molecules floating thru space and one day they will be returned.. lifes too short to argue with dicks on the internet..(but sure as hell its fun )

A child who knows no Evil.

Β I wonder whether in the future with cremations a more popular option whether the stroll thru the cemetery will have the same impact as it does now, or moreso in the past. It’s always an interesting and often sad journey when you come across graves of young children, there is only a titbit of information your given on the headstone which leaves alot to the imagination.

Ironically I took this image not knowing anything about the grave and it was not until i looked at the picture did i read it – Cara, was born only a short year or so after me and is only a bit younger than Little E when she died….
Its a nice headstone with a nice message.

Muna Badawi Strasser nominated me for 10 travel photos in 10 days, i’ll probably struggle for 10, and i reckon a explanation is ok so here goes.

This scene sums up Norway for me, the 2nd day there from a 12 day road trip in a Skoda octavia wagon, the only other image that is quintessential norway would have a road tunnel in it

The scale of the hills in Norway are second to none and this image nails it for me…
