Leech-ville

you know that little bit of skin near the calcaneofibular ligament – thats the fancy name for the ligament just below the boney bit of your ankle.. it hurts like crap after a leech has been sucking on it for a couple of hours.. moreso the day after….damn leeches and their ability to get into your socks and boots.

There is always a path… sometimes the path of blocked, sometimes it is not much of a direct route, sometimes there are hidden branches to trip you up, sometimes there are just slippery ass patches which catch you unaware…

rest assured tho, that path always leads to the lowest point and the the place of least energy…. thats where water goes.

This little tree and his rock pal were a pair of standouts on this hill up from the Thredbo River, not a majestic snow gum yet, but hopefully one day it will take the place of so many of the old and falling snowgums.
