To pass, thy shall decipher a series of clues, each more fiendish than the last

Suren. The gate keeper.

and I am sure +Suren J will process his version in good time once the fish tank is complete.

The world underneath

Bradley's Head Marine Nav-Aid

What I love about sunrise is that you are never gonna know were the colour is gonna turn up (if at all) and when it does, all you can do is just make do with what angle, POV, or feature you can. I would have loved to be in another position to take more advantage of the sweet colours, but alas, this sliver of Sydney Harbour has to suffice.

Bradleys Head and the Navigation tower – probably one of the most photographic marine nav aids in sydney too :)

nothing like a sunday morning sunrise in Sydney, some reno's happening at Bradleys head but you can still access the foreshore and amphitheater.

Not a bad pano considering I had just rolled down the hill with a four year old….probably rolled in multiple dog craps on the way down

Sydney Park – the biggest dog park in the inner west and if i see some not picking up their dogs crap I will punch them in the throat.

Sunset with a 4 year old, well 4 years and one day now, I noticed some pretty nice cloud forming today, which btw was perfect for some midair aircraft shots, but I was busy with a 4 year birthday party hence no love there, anyway, so myself and chaos (4 years and 1 day) decide to head out to see the clouds painted by the easter bunny rabbit. Whilst the actual photography side of things is quite difficult when you either have a four year on your shoulders and doing a runner into the bushes every two minutes it is still very enjoyable to spend time together and shoot some pictures

Chaos, this ones for you.

This is why I take pictures, I love getting out, particularly in nature and being able mix a couple of hobbies, outdoors and photography, something I must remember not to take for granted

you don't even need to go to spectacular locations (although I would not say no to a iceland trip or Antarctica or Hawaii 🙂 ) to see some really great countryside. I am also very lucky to live in a country where I am close to this kind of nature and have the ability to live a comfortable life and pursue a hobby, something a larger portion of the worlds population do not have.

I did try and move that bloody stick.. but thought nah, i should do the right thing and leave it there..

holy shit batman it takes along time to tag that sh$t

This is my tribute to all those who have served and are serving. Anzac Day March in Sydney CBD 2010 through 2013

http://imagery.avernus.com.au/anzac.html

ANZAC Day goes beyond the anniversary of the landing on Gallipoli in 1915. It is the day we remember all Australians who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. The spirit of ANZAC, with its human qualities of courage, mateship, and sacrifice, continues to have meaning and relevance for our sense of national identity. On ANZAC day, ceremonies are held in towns and cities across the nation to acknowledge the service of our veterans.

The faces of ANZAC Day

For awhile now I have trundled into the city and battled the crowds to remember those who have served for our country, each year brings fewer familiar faces, but at the same time new faces appear and others take up the memory, not to mention the new generation of returned serviceman and women.

This lady is one I have noticed for the last few years, the wife of one of the under 16's who has passed away. Here she is over the last 3 years and not looking that much older 🙂

Western Sydney, probably even classified as the Hawkesbury, all I know is I probably need a passport to go there its so far away

I think its also commonly referred to as the food bowl for sydney, since most of the local fresh produce is grown around this area.

Anyhows, there was a nice fog and some cows hiding in there and some very nice predawn pinks, followed up with a tasty steak sandwich, all that looking at cows made me hungry 🙂
