Valeria Messalina – Empress.
Valeria Messalina was a powerful Roman empress, best known for her long and influential political career, and for her hobby of hanging out in brothels and prostituting.
Makes sense to me. If I had to spend my days with politicians and senators, I’d want to spend my nights with a better class of people, too 😉 Especially after listening to our parliament sit on the new Vaping laws, don’t get me started here. 🙂 Wednesday’s fun facts with gerry, at least its not a terrible pun.
I could spend all day shooting these falls, it was great conditions here recently with some nice fog and very few people which is the advantage of being early 🙂
Here is a selection of shots from the falls, I really like taking the time just to get to all the angles and taking a variety of shots, wide, pano and even the cliche insta favourites… which btw have been taken way before insta was even an electrical pulse in someones brain 🙂

I know its been all said before, but as adults we just lose alot of the childhood creativity, it gets beaten out of us in trying to be grown up, normal and to fit in.
Kmart owes me a whole bunch for the amount of hot glue stick refills i have bought from there in recent time, alot which have ended up gluing lounges and walls .. but I still love seeing these cool little creations… Heres one from the middle child, stole her big sisters fake eyelashes, used a bit of lace and buttons from a recent visit to the Reverse Garbage and found this missing ear ring which was put to good use, all ontop of a spool of clear string 🙂 and a crown, god knows where that came from, to top it all off.

Meaning. The word means ‘an image containing four pictures’ or ‘a series of four pictures that are bound together in some way’.
well, i think i achieved that part 🙂 best way to make 4 ordinary pictures look ok 😉

End of the Road.

Lots of track closures at the moment in the mountains, many landslips and track damage – I reckon they should have a interactive map which show the track closures, with so many different tracks in the area and having to read 3 pages of track closures it would make sense just to have a map with parts of it red to show closed portions.

I did read the 3 pages of closures and knew it was closed at this point (below Sylivia falls), but so many people walking past.. then back up again.. disappointed 🙂

Another on from this installation, however this one also has a sequence from the southern pylon. I just joined the three time lapses together so you will see the same one from before on the north side as well. “This group of climate change warriors from the Torres Strait Islands face the imminent threat of becoming some of the world’s first climate refugees due to rising sea levels.
