Bird.
Not really a bird fan, but it is fun to try and take pictures of them, especially these little devils, they are so damn fast and small and literally disappear when they hear the shutter click. I only took about 15 thousand shots to get one decent one 😉

It all seems like a great idea from the comfort of the car, but then you get out there and its dark, cold and in this case.. just down right sandy and I think, seriously?
To top it all off navigating sand dunes in the dark is pretty hard, whilst I could just use my GPS or phone, I elected to use stars, so I picked one particular bright one that was close to the dune exit point and followed it.. needless to say.. i did find my way out eventually 🙂 albeit with shoes full of sand and almost going head first off a rather large dune drop off in the dark 🙂

I only took 2 lens on this trip, mainly to reduce some weight – which was offset by the fact that someone left a 1/2kg rock in my bag from the last camping trip :-/ now some dude 1000 years from now is gonna find a river stone up in the snowy mountains and it’s gonna spin them right out 🙂
This lens is the 14mm and I did a fair few super wide pano shots, this one was 5 shots (180 degree FOV) which turned out alright.
