Last lot of pictures form this spot, the first is cool since it gives a real picture of what the canyon looks like going into the little grotto where the falls are.

If you want that canyon experience without getting wet or busting your chops, then this is your place albeit on a very small scale.

This place has been here since the dawn of time, i can’t count the number of times I went here at 5am in the morning on the way home from graveyard shift at the pub..
Actually the Laundry has been there since the stone ages as well…and also the African hair place. Never been there tho 🙂
Probably the property developers have not offered them enough money or they have morals 🙂

Seems the trend at the moment is to post about some ‘secret’ waterfall, or swimming hole, so here’s mine. The secret stick falls, ya’all never find it…. hashtag blessed, pray, nature etc..

Nearly did not even get in the air , seems DJI has broken the fly app with android 12, fixed that problem with using dronelink, which seems ok.
If you have the same issue with the recent android update, ie the DJI app just crashes – try reinstalling using the package file directly from the DJI website – not via the play store.

Its been too long since I have committed the cardinal sin of photography with a planetoid, but these are pretty neat from a drone.

Fomo strikes again. Its 3:52am in the morning and I had already convinced myself that staying in bed was a much wiser choice, but the fomo doubt crept in, the conditions were good, low tide, cloudy, it could be really nice… so against my better judgement I drove down at stupid o’clock to this over photographed location (easy to see why tho). The last time i was here for sunrise was in 2013, FYI, rocks still in the same place 🙂 some more green stuff, a new set of stairs in progress and thats about it…

This was a pretty wet session, spent most of it huddled under a nice pandanus tree.
There was a cool rainbow at the end as well, but I had enough at that stage being pretty well soaked to core.

There is this tiny little ledge at Centennial Glen, its off to the right and you can kinda crawl along until you get a view of the falls such that you can see the top of the falls, which from most other positions is obscured by the mini canyon rocks.

Went to see the sunrise at Sublime point the other day, typical mountains weather, no sunrise, no view, nothing but fog, I definitely mist the sunrise so this path was the next best subject 🙂
