Born in Warwickshire, Will grew up in the Suffolk countryside and spent several years in London and Glasgow before moving to Sydney, Australia. His grandfather, Norman Sillman, is a sculptor so he had easy access to modern and classical art and art theory when he was growing up. His official art training consists of Ravensbourne College of Art, Wimbledon School of Art and Glasgow School of Art. Most of his work, if pigeon-holed, is either semi-figurative or conceptual. His cast concrete works that appear on city streets are poignant and clever.
