Fishing on carpet of green and gold

Some very sensible fishermen out on this particular morning, all decked out with life jackets and proper footwear. It was also a magnificent morning to be out, fresh, cool and plenty of colour.

2 frame Manual Blend.
Exif/setup data:
D7000 coupled with Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 @ 13 mm Aperture: f/16 and Shutter Speed: 1/2 of a second and 1.5 seconds (foreground)

As always, I welcome any suggestions, comments and improvements to my photography, they are always warmly welcomed.

  1. Awesome. Just found this version after reading +Rodney Campbell's comment on the also stunning other version. Personally I like this version even a bit more. It directs the eyes a little bit more towards the fishermen and the sun. Two really awesome panos!

  2. cheers mate, +Nico Kaiser – I also like this version, I find the water movement and the composition to be much stronger, which is probably why the eye gets led more easily to the main subject, the fishermen.
    thanks again.
