the road that is 🙂
I had this composition in my head before I went to this spot, however with most ideas in my head it looked nothing like it actually ended up.
The more I look at it, more I dislike it, i see all the dust spots, the stitching errors, the inconsistent colour smoothness..the noise..
I will chalk this image down to one of those ones which needed alot of beating over the head to get to the point where it looks like what you wanted it to look like… like the image in my head, but even then its not there. FYI, the image in my head was a large expanse of ocean with the road and cliff teetering on the edge of the frame.
Its a 5 shot panorama image at the height of the colour of the morning, which needed alittle help to really shine through 🙂

+Gerard Blacklock You see dust spots, I see a very nicely realised image! It's an interesting topic though Gerard, How often do photographs turn out as originally visualised by the photographer? I guess for me they do only for a small proportion of the shots I take. I'm not sure if that's lack of skill or poor visualisation, but it tends to be a motivating factor as well.

very rarely for me – but like golf that's the reason why I keep going out and shooting 🙂
+Gerard Blacklock It's my pleasure to share your beautiful work with the #artistphotographeramateurorprofessional theme +Artist , photographer , amateur or professional (selected by Krzysztof Felczak)
Dust spots or not, still beautiful pano Gerry.. the composition is great and those colours are just beautiful! 😊
+Gerard Blacklock I quite like it mate! The same happens to me often, though there are times the end result is as good if not better than what I was visualising! Couldn't see the dust spots, not sure whether its because you cleaned them or my waterproof phone case has far more spots than your image! 😉 Nicely done mate, even if it wasn't what you had envisaged!
