10 years ago you would not have seen this, however out here where its like 80% sunshine you do not have to be a rocket scientist to realise that solar energy is the way to go now that its available and compared to initial uptake prices…dirt cheap.
Exif love:
5 horizontal frames taken in the searing heat..
D750 coupled with Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 @ 40mm Aperture: f10 and Shutter Speed: 1/125s
ISO 100
Out front – Hoya CPL and one lonely shed and silo
Love This +Gerard Blacklock 🙂
It still is heavely subsidized. This should be left to the market, not subsidies from the government.
ya because no other forms of energy have ever received subsidies from the governments of the world. Id much rather subsidize something that is inherently good for everyone than something that is slowly killing us all
Agree, as should so many other things.
What is the replacement cost when a Tornadoes takes the entire house and the utility charges you for going offline ?
impressive, nice words

so is coal, so is car manufacture (well until next year), so is farming, so is housing investment .. and plenty of others too probably…. love to see all those "left to the market" 🙂
+In My World
probably pretty high…but i reckon i would take that calculated risk.. how many tornadoes go thru here ? its SE queensland, there has been about 4 since 1970… i would be more interested in worrying about droughts 😉

cheers 🙂
Nice panorama. Long format, must be 5:1? I like the composition. Should be more solar power used for sure!
thanks +Richard Vandewalle
not sure on the format to be honest, just free cropped to the composition I felt right – it was a bit wider but I wanted the line on the right to come a bit closer to the corner of the frame..
