Macadamia Ridge

Looking south, you can see Lennox Head in the background. Pretty nice spot except for all the tourists 🙂

This shot is just as the dawn broke over the horizon letting the warm sunshine glance off the ridges. Its 3 shots stitched together as a panorama image

Out front: no filters .. just some nice rolling hills.

Capacity

I have been walking past/thru this place a bit lately. Its not really as inspiring as all the images on the web make it out to be, took me a awhile to even bring the camera along 🙂 . One caption from the wall/info sheet had me going, something to the effect that the curves of the tunnel help with larger pedestrian flow.. lol yeah right.. the engineer in me just says you make the tunnel heaps wide to fit heaps of people, simple.. it ain't rocket science.. then the common sense in me wants to slap someone for putting a single escalator at the end… thats a bit like the M5 when it it hits the tunnel.
All that said and well at least its probably better than the Central Train Station Pedestrian tunnel.. just without any soul.

Survivor

Imagine standing on Centrepoint tower.. or the eye or whatever they choose to call it today and having the whole city around you obliterated by a supersized transformer with a concrete chainsaw cutting down the buildings aka grass. Well thats probably how this little dude felt as I tore thru the garden and probably removed half his mates and the local water hole …
Nonetheless, after all the grass cuttings settled.. here he was chilled and hanging about in a little tree like it was no body's business….
probably too shell shocked to move ..

view this large.. its worth it.
