I agree it's a huge difference +Gerard Blacklock, but humbly I rather prefer this photograph to the 175 seconds one on this particular case / scene
which makes me wonder if you have tried other speeds
Wow! What a fantastic visual of the difference a bunch of seconds make. Both images have their strengths.
Thanks +José Luís Costa , perfectly acceptable for you to like this version 🙂 everyone has different tastes and views and thats what I love about photography and the best thing.. no one is right or wrong 🙂
I do sometimes try other speeds, just depends on my mood and the look I am going for 🙂 Thanks for have a look and commenting mate.

Very nice, Gerard. I like both images equally. They both have their own mood and feel.
Love the colour of the water Gerard.
Oohhh.. +Gerard Blacklock..
thanks for showing us both shots mate
I entered a photo competition of a river. And rock scene,
The judges comments made sense. To me,
A good water image is when you can see lines of direction and where you can see the flow of water, and yet stiil obtain smoothness, with a slow shutter speed,
Your second photo does exactly what i mentioned,
Nice job …
