i gotta say HDRefex Pro 2 works pretty good on a single image – not quite what I would normally do to a image, however for 3 clicks its certainly a good result and I can see why so many peeps are using it, +Dave Tomek comes to mind

3 shot panorama with a 4 year old on my shoulders, hows that for multitasking?
The only thing that would make it better would be for +Google and +Nik Photography to update the +My Nikon Life captureNX plugins πŸ˜‰

  1. Purdy Gerry – you got some cool skies this day. I like what it's done to the ground and the clouds but not so much the building and some of the funky blue in the sky. +My Nikon Life have zero engagement so I think the chances of any CaptureNX updates are somewhat slim πŸ™‚

    Thanks +Dave Tomek
+Rodney Campbell it is HDR software and thus plenty of options, i just selected the default 'deep' setting, there are plenty to choose from and I am sure the 'balanced' one gives a more smoother look to the dynamic lighting. I was gonna say I don't quite like the uneven lighting on the grass and clouds πŸ™‚

  3. +Gerard Blacklock , I have the full Nik suite and was pleasantly surprised with HDR efex pro 2, both in traditional bracketed shots and single images, it does very well.

In the past some of the HDR software available was pretty crappy, inserted a lot of artefacts, noise and lost contrast.

This is a very good looking image Gerard.
