If you look closely – and it does not take imagination on acid 🙂 to see it..you can see the outline of a emu running, made by the succulent creeper on the rocks.
or..you could, like my 4yro chaos, see a dinosaur, however she sees dinos everywhere at the moment.
Sometimes i do get caught up in the Long exposures, the sunrise and forget to actually take a few 'normal' touristy style shots, so anyway, here is one such shot on the walk back from the Sunrise location – just a pretty part of the coast.
No way out
Nature is amazing, these little scrubs cling to life on the edge of these cliffs and seem to take pride in being as robust as the rocks 🙂 This ones for you little fella..

Sunrise over the shelf.
I waited a good ten minutes for the right wave to run over the little shelf but alas it was not to be, hence the trickle rather than the desired 'whoosh'. Probably a good thing for 30 seconds after i left the big set came thru and and where i was standing was well and truly swamped 🙂
I am always a fan of images in which there is battle for the light and dark or cool and warm – in this case the shadows of the rockshelf gave me the cool side of the world and the cloud muffled warm light gave me, well the warm side.
Somewhere south of Garie beach – far away from the bustle of the city and monday to friday 🙂

After spending quite sometime wandering around the lower part of the falls looking for a darn tree to frame the lower falls, this tree just jumped out and said frame me 🙂 Pure gnarliness – its like nature just knew what to do to make a nice image.

A slight change from my usual displays of green mossy stuff – i came across this quite bizarre yellow rock coverings that seemed to be nicely timed with the predawn yellow of the sky.

My thoughts go out to Zac and his mates/family who was mortally injured the other day in a shark attack just north of Coffs Harbour – way to young too die. Rest in peace buddy.
Thus, the image, a horizon that reminded me of the mouth of a shark, even more appropriate given Zac was body boarding at the time of the shark attack.
