i am riding a white mare across a green plain with the hooves thundering on the ground as the wind catches my cape and sweeps back my hair
well.. that’s what she probably reckons it looks like 😉
far from being satisfied with walking and climbing, the ability of being able to mount, ride and dismount the trusty steed (worn in and dutifully demonstrated by her sister chaos) was high on the priority list. After several close calls, i think we can safely say, tickles, you have nailed the rocking horse. nicely done 🙂

check out those grandpa pants too 😉

proud mum and a happy baby with a fist full of cake

5th October 2014, little old tickles has clocked up a whole year, 12 months ago (and 20 hours) the sound of her cry as she came into the world (yeah i know that sounds corny) is still something that is as fresh in my ears as if it was yesterday. The feeling of relief and joy that followed that moment still washes over me whenever I think about it. Anyway, enough of that 😉 fast forward 12 months and we have gotten onto two legs, climbed ladders, climbed onto stools like a little elephant and sat there, successfully eye gouged dad several times, nearly booted dad’s teeth out with some serious ninja kicks and most importantly of all, given us lots of giggles, laughs, smiles and happy memories with many more to come.

Happy birthday tickles. enjoy your cake.

Legs

and a serious license to use them

Whilst we have not quick cracked the running around the backyard yet and we seem to think crawling on all fours is a much superior and fast (apparently 🙂 ) means to get around, its quite a treat to witness the transition of a children from crawling to be able to walk – the marvels of the human body and development eh!

Although, i could do without the ear piercing squeals at random moments when driving.. thats kinda dangerous tickles! and while i am here, the eye gouging and kicking could also be improved upon 😉

btw, check out that belly…baby fat to the max!

Studio

Tickle Studio – (c) 2014 Gerard Blacklock

Welcome to the tickle studio
I just found the best studio for doing portraits in, well kids portraits anyway 😉 now coined “The Tickle Studio”

Its a background, diffuser, child barrier and child entertainer all in one and for less that 20 bucks 🙂 My little tickles dutifully adorned with head band, testing it out for me, this is her corporate look – nicely done and I reckon your pretty darn cute 🙂

Evolution

We are getting there, we have tried all the options and alternatives and I think that we have mastered the art of getting the yummy stuff that gets put in a bowl ( which is suctioned to the table for safety:) ) to the place that satisfies… the face 🙂
ya doing great tickles.

I found your keys dad

Not much stops Mayhem, even with being hit with her second bout of Bronchiolitis (which is pretty rare apparently) she is still motoring around, albeit wheezy-ing around :), this child has got one very fast crawl happening and is becoming very helpful when I misplace my car keys 🙂

Chaos and Mayhem

Happy 5th Birthday Chaos, you have brought happiness, joy and an insightful perspective into our lives and its a privilege 🙂

Mayhem (aka tickles), is yet to have a birthday, but is well and truly living up to expectation and terrorising everyone around – but we still love ya 🙂

Where did that baby go?

We now have crawling and the ability to pull one self up onto just about anything, plenty of bumps along the way a but when Tickles (aka Mayhem) gets put down she will be gone within a flash, the nearest chair, table, leg anything she's on it 🙂

I swear I had a good couple more months of being able to plonk her down and not having to chase after her every minute 😉 well at least she is now also terrorising her big sister 🙂

# chaos # mayhem

Its all fun and games until

somebody spews on ya face! actually for the one doing the spewing its all a bit funny.
Nice one tickles, got me right in the face. FYI, if you ever wanted to know..baby spew does have quite a bit of acidic material in it…my lips were burning afterwards..don't worry..i had my mouth closed..just.

All that said, you can't stay cranky at a smile like this.

Connect

It still amazes me how all this just works and evolves…
