Wow! The snowshot to end all snowshots! I love how you captured the rich texture of the tree trunks while also rendering the tones of the snowpack without the colour casts that frequently plague other photographers, i.e., blue or purple snow.

Thanks +Carolyn Fahm yes, the large amounts of white can play havoc with the camera's white balance, the trick is to shoot in raw format and then just tweak the white balance in processing to get the right balance – I also found you have to bump up the exposure alot in post since the cameras metering often under exposes because of all the white!
