This small trail of rocks etched out of the sand at Collaroy reminded me of a kids fairy tale of a place where a dragon should be sitting, right out there on that rocky outcropping, ready to lunge and eat up any child who did not bring home their lunch containers… i'm looking at you here Chaos 🙂 . Scene is complete with greenish yellow dragon poo, aka seaweed 🙂
The overcast conditions and the 267s exposure time left the scene with a soft glow and completely removed that lady (who I would call crazy) swimming out in the murky seaweed infested water 🙂

+Gerard Blacklock Fabulous colours, what a lovely shot Gerard. Seriously frrrrrustrating though that you can't click through to image posts in the G+ new notifications.
Lovely image. I'm sure it would also be stunning in black and white. Lovely and sharp considering you had 267 opportunities for wind to shake your gear 😎
Gorgeous

Beautiful image!
+Joshua Dufresne great
+Chris Sutton yeah it's a bit clunky like that, however at least when you can still zoom in! that would be a real showstopper for me 🙂
+Richard Hallford Thanks Richard – I had not looked at the BW option, I will however take a look at that since your right it could look quite good ..There was no breeze, at this level anyway, that said I find the LE can a bump or too, the long exposure 'overwrites' any little movements
+Hanny Koren thankyou
+Joshua Dufresne I have seen that rock in other pictures and yup.. that's where the dragon is currently resting 🙂
+Radiant Wonder Natural Fertility and Wellness thanks
+Gerard Blacklock just beautiful ☺
