   I once was in and fell walking backwards from the surf. I was a sight holding my cam straight up to save it!

13. With years of swimming, surfing and fishing in the sea I have heard of hundreds of people swept into the sea and drowned when they thought they where safe Gerard. I was not trying to be smart but just showing my concern in less words 🙂

    I hear ya mate – i too know and have heard of many who have lost their lives to the ocean – strangely enough, a place I visit quite often, Little Bay in sydney has claimed half a dozen people in recent years.
